TSIS (Tele -Security Intercom System ) Tele Security intercom System for building and housing society helps to stop entry of unwanted visitors like petty thiefs, burglars, armed criminals, sales-persons, vendors inside the building. These systems are used to provide intercom facility between residents of a building and the security watchmen at the entrance gate mainly with the purpose of confirming whether the visitors should be allowed entry or not. Security men at the gate, in consultation with the residents, can screen out lot of unwanted visitors, including burglars/dacoits and door-to door sales persons. In addition, such systems are useful in the following ways: Tele-conference and intercom of society office bearers & residents Making small common announcements to all residents (eg. date of General Body meeting) Mass-announcing the arrival of fruits vendor, vegetable vendors, plumber, electrician, society manager, etc Keeping a check whether the watchman is awake during night hours Caller-ID facility in the intercom system is useful to trace malicious calls, which are not uncommon. Talking Caller-ID facility can be useful to all users including those who have non-caller-id phones.
